The thing about the romance genre that a lot of people don’t get is that romance books don’t come in just one format. There are many different types of romance books, specialized niches, and tropes. I feel one of the many sub-genres of romance that is not getting talked about loudly enough is romantic suspense.
Romantic Suspense is the best of both worlds, in my opinion. You get all the twists and turns that you get from mystery or thriller books, but with the love and the heat of romance books.
This is why I am giving you 10 romantic suspense books you totally should add to your TBR!
1.The Edge of Midnight by Beverly Jackson
Sarita Grayson is desperate. That’s the only explanation for her late night rendezvous with a bag of stolen diamonds. But then a handsome stranger stands between her and a clean getaway. In the struggle for freedom, she accidentally shoots him.
